“Flowers” is the English version of the song “Deconstrução” that was released on Ana Luisa Ramos’ debut solo album, ‘Um’. Eric Taylor Escudero, writer of this song, circles around the theme of deterioration and a beautiful natural renewal. Accepting this reality of life gives one hope. The song is upbeat and lovely, with a gentle sense of moving forward. Ana Luisa Ramos’ smooth voice makes the listener feel reflective, yet contented, full of yearning and hope in the midst of loss. The Brazilian couple, Ana Luisa Ramos (Escudero) and Eric Taylor Escudero have made St John’s, Newfoundland, their home for the past three and a half years. The project was recorded at the Citadel House Studio in Lewisporte, Newfoundland.
