Ana Luísa Ramos is a singer-songwriter, vocal coach, and music curator. Born in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil, Ana started singing as a child in Cia Minaz Children ´s Choir and had her debut with Orquestra Sinfônica de Ribeirão Preto presentation of “Gloria” by Vivaldi. She has also been featured in “The Magic Flute” (Mozart) as Queen of the Night, “La Traviata” (Verdi), “Il Pagliacci” (Leoncavallo), “Carmina Burana” (Carl Orff), as well as in the musicals “Hair” (McDermot) and "A Ópera do Malandro" (Chico Buarque) as Teresinha. Ana Luisa joined the São Paulo State Youth Choir in 2007 and, in 2009 was the winner of the Concurso Jovens Talentos (Young Talents Contest) in the Eleazar de Carvalho Music Festival. For the last two decades, Ana has been working in the classical and popular fields and has performed in Europe, South, Central, and North America. She holds a Licentiate in Music Education and has studied singing in Brazil, Argentina, Austria, and Canada. Throughout her career, she has recorded over 15 albums for different projects and in 2016 Ana released her first solo album, entitled "Um". Over the last few years, Ana has been focusing on her solo career and her duo with Eric Taylor Escudero, Ana & Eric, which released their debut self-titled EP through The Citadel House in November 2020. Since 2019 Ana has been living in St. John´s, Newfoundland, and recently signed with The Citadel House as a solo artist. Her new solo album “Amanheceu” was released in September 24, 2021.
