Liz Fagen Band, from the St. John’s Indie rock music scene has been turning heads for a few years now. The group brings a dynamic Francophone twist which draws listeners into their “lyrical inner-world where everyone is bilingual, gender nonconformity is salvation, and yearning is practically currency.” -the muse. https://linktr.ee/lizfagan?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio https://www.cbc.ca/listen/live-radio/1-72-weekend-am/clip/16064989-the-liz-fagan-band-leans-official-languages
Tobirus, the three(sometimes four)-piece rock band from Lewisporte and Grand Falls, combines influences by Weezer, Pavement, The Rolling Stones, and Beck, and delivers a powerful blend of alternative rock and classic rock sensibilities. The trio stays true to their roots in folk-inspired melodies and their love for classic and alternative rock. Their album, House Husboy was released in the spring, and they have just laid down the tracks for their followup album, In The Manor to be released spring of 2027. https://tobirus.com/
