Evan AuCoin is a MusicNL multi-time nominated singer/songwriter, originally from Bay De Verde, Newfoundland. Over the past 13 years, AuCoin has been honing his craft on the city's stages. In that time he's become a regular on the St. John's scene as a solo performer and for the last seven years as part of the band Rugged Shores. AuCoin is a consummate songwriter, inspired by the like of Jason Isbell, Jeff Tweedy, and Taylor Goldsmith to name a few. Evan is a versatile musician well versed in everything from moody folk rock, country, blues, rock, and traditional Irish Newfoundland music. In 2022 Evan began a new project called Midnight Watch, focusing on original rock music with country influences. Since then Midnight Watch has been nominated for Music NL country artist of the year and have become regulars in the local band scene. Evan AuCoin is sure to have something to appeal to all tastes. Liz Fagen Band, from the St. John’s Indie rock music scene has been turning heads for a few years now. Tobirus, the three(sometimes four)-piece rock band from Lewisporte and Grand Falls, combines influences by Weezer, Pavement, The Rolling Stones, and Beck, and delivers a powerful blend of alternative rock and classic rock sensibilities. The trio stays true to their roots in folk-inspired melodies and their love for classic and alternative rock.
